A lot of jokes have been made about the phrase "watch this". Ya know, what's a redneck's last words? (Answer: Hold my beer and watch this. Boom, boom, ching!)
I have discovered that this phrase gains a whole new, wonderful meaning in the arena of sports. Most notably, today, college football. I love sitting in a social situation watching a game and hearing that. You know, "Dude! Watch this!" as a replay of a beautiful interception timed perfectly to bewilder all.
Here's hoping all of your teams have "Watch this!" seasons...unless they're playing Nebraska. In that case....Watch THIS!
